Jurgen Klopp's agent Marc Kosicke has spoken on rumors linking his client and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to a soon-to-be-vacant Bayern Munich managerial slot.

Bayern Munich announced their decision to part ways with Thomas Tuchel as the club's manager at the end of the season.

Klopp, who is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, has been strongly linked with the job at Allianz Arena.

German outlets claim Bayern Munich are eyeing the Liverpool boss as a perfect replacement for Thomas Tuchel. Now, his agent, Marc Kosicke has debunked the rumors
According to Kosicke, who spoke with Sky Germany, Jurgen Klopp will stick to his decision to take a break from managing any other club or national team for one year.

"Jurgen Klopp will not coach any club or national team for a year after this current season.

"That remains unchanged," Kosicke says.

With Jurgen Klopp ruled out of the Bayern job, Nsmnews understands Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso is top on the list of managers lined up to replace Thomas Tuchel, including former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskaer.

However, it may not be an easy bargain for Bayern for Alonso. Liverpool are also said to be in the race to sign Alonso with reports the Reds had already contacted the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has been linked to other top managerial openings at the end of the season such as Barcelona, whose manager, Xavi Hernandez, has decided to step down at the end of the season.

As confirmed by Kosicke, Klopp will proceed on his sabbatical away from any managerial offer after his spell with Liverpool.
