Kai Havertz scored a winner in the 86th minute of the match between Arsenal and Brentford to push the Gunners back to the top of the Premier League table for the first time since last Christmas.

The Arsenal team started well, with more possession than their opponents. The breakthrough happened for Arsenal with Declan Rice's header in the 19th minute of the game.

Brentford came back into the game through Aaron Ramsdale's mistake in the Gunners' box.


The English goalkeeper was too slow to hit the ball out of the box, and his attempt was blocked by Brentford attacker Wissa.

What Next for Arsenal and Brentford?
The Arsenal side are expected to face FC Porto in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on March 12, 2024, at 9:00 p.m.
