Kwarapoly withdraws student’s HND certificate over cultism.
The Kwara State Polytechnic has withdrawn the HND certificate of a student due to his involvement in cultism.
The authorities of the Kwara Poly withdrew his certificate this morning, Tuesday. This student has been identified as AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji and this is due to his involvement in cultism.
This was revealed in a statement which was issued by the management of the school by the Deputy Registrar who is Mr. Olayemi Olatomi.
He made this available to News men. They revealed that they have withdrawn his certificate and this is because his involvement in cultism is against the matriculation oath which he has sworn to.
In the statement which was released, it also revealed that this student's mobilization to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has also been put on hold.
The statement revealed that the withdrawal was immediate for this student who is in the department of Public Administration.
The decision they made was based on the Polytechnic’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee report.
They said his involvement in cultism notes that he is not of sound character or worthy to receive a certificate from the institution.
