PSG star Kylian Mbappe has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid to join the club at the end of the season.

According to Goal, Mbappe has finally agreed to Real Madrid's contract terms, removing the last hurdle for his move to the club.

We reported earlier Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe have been locked on the negotiation table for a deal with Mbappe's mother and agent Fayza Lamari refusing to agree terms with the LaLiga and European giant.

According to Marca, Real Madrid were offering Kylian Mbappe as low as €20m compared to the €60m they offered the player in 2022.

PSG offered Mbappe a whopping €86m annual salary to sign a new deal but he turned down the offer. It is understood Kylian Mbappe had played down monetary incentives in his next career decision. However, his camp expected a more decent offer from Real Madrid.

After a dragging round of talks and negotiations, the 25-year-old has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid and will join the club in June 2023.

Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid contract

According to reports, Kylian Mbappe has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid till 2029. His annual salary range, as offered by Real Madrid, is €15m-30m with a contract bonus of €50m.

Real Madrid are expected to announce the player soon but must wait until the expiration of his contract with PSG at the end of the season.

Kylian Mbappe's imminent PSG exit brings to an end a dragging contract renewal standoff that nearly saw the player's career grind to a halt in France. PSG could not stand losing Mbappe on a free transfer initially and opted to sell the player to the highest bidder.

Saudi outfit Al-Hilal emerged with a whooping offer to sign Mbappe which was accepted by PSG but Mbappe refused to reach an agreement with the club.

At the peak of the standoff, he was suspended from the squad but things returned to normal after showdown talks with Nasser Al Khelaifi.

PSG gradually accepted the fact they would lose one of their most talented young players on a free transfer to a European rival Real Madrid.

On Thursday, February 16, Mbappe told the club he will leave (on a free transfer) at the end of the season with the club making moves to sign a replacement.
