He added; "The visual cues of the lips indicate the presence of the 'R' and 'P' sounds, and the word appears to end sharply. Additionally, the speaker seems to have a pronounced Brummie accent, which I factored into my interpretation".
In the aftermath of the footage that has gone viral on social media, Getafe have decided to take action, asking the game's center referee, Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea to record the apparent insult in his match report.
The action might land Bellingham in a disciplinary protocol from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), although without audio, it could be a hard case to confirm.
In addition, Getafe have reported the occurrence to the La Liga representative present at Estadio Coliseum Stadium to record the alleged insult.
Mason Greenwood joined Getafe on a loan deal from Manchester United after the club proclaimed he was innocent of sexual assault allegations.
