Nigerian singer Ikechukwu Eric Ahiazu popularly known as Ric Hassani speaks on the current decline of Nigerian music despite the growth of Afrobeats around the world.

Ric Hassani addressed this during an interview with Rubbin Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV. The "Ngozi" crooner stated that Nigerian artists now chase hit songs that they no longer make music with depth and substance.

Ric Hassani said most of the songs currently topping the charts in Nigeria, aren't quality music because everyone is trying to secure a spot and doing it for numbers.
