NSCDC arrests 21 suspected illegal miners in Cross River

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested 21 suspected illegal miners in Cross River State.

These men were arrested in some communities in Cross River State. The NSCDC had collaborated with the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development to make these arrests in these communities.

They made the arrest on the 11th of May and paraded these men yesterday, Monday, May 15 2023.

It was Mr Samuel Fadeyi who is the state Commandant of the NSCDC, who paraded these men at the NSCDC headquarters in Calabar.
