Videos circulating across the Internet reveal how some Nigerian Afrobeats singers were assaulted at the event organized by Poco Lee at Lagos State University (LASU).

Poco Lee invited the likes of Mohbad, Bella Shmurda, Odumodublvck, Berri Tiga, Zlatan, Tee Dollar, and others to grace the event and entertain students at LASU.

The event started with fun and excitement evident on the faces of attendees but ended with violence against the invited celebrities.

Here is a clip showing Zlatan's performance. The hall looked peaceful here.

Suddenly, violence erupted in the hall as some alleged thugs invaded the hall. Some people attributed the reason for the violence to Poco Lee's fault. They said Poco Lee sold more tickets than the hall could accommodate and denied people entry because the hall was filled to the brim.

In the videos below, students were jumping flowers and destroying the iron barricades erected at the hall's entrance. The likes of Odumodublvck, Berri Tiga, and Tee Dollar were seen exiting LASU with bodyguards.

Unlike the rest, Mohbad was received with love and there is no clip showing where he was assaulted. Those in the crowd were hailing him "Imole- Imole"

Netizens are complaining about the unfairness and lack of security experienced by the celebrities invited to LASU. Some said it is a shame for such things to happen in the county.

Twitter Influencer, Daniel Regha also said "Bella Shmurda, Odumodo Blvck, plus other public figures being violated at LASU campus isn't something to joke about; It makes 'em feel unappreciated, & goes to show how unsafe our universities have become for not only celebs, but students in general. This is a cause for concern."
