President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the payment of N324M outstanding electricity for the Presidential Villa.

Following the disconnection notice from Abuja Electricity Distribution Company on Monday, the FG has confirmed that the Presidential Villa owes nothing more than N324M. The AEDC showed that the Villa owes an outstanding of N923M which in total with the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) is N47.1 billion.

The FG debunked that the State House's outstanding bill is N324M. To this effect, the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila has assured that the bill will be cleared before the end of the week. This, however, doesn't cover the electricity bill of the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
