Romelu Lukaku is set to be offered a two-year deal worth £43 million from Saudi Arabian giant AL-Hilal.

Lukaku reportedly met with Al-Hilal officials to discuss the deal in Saudi Arabia on June 12, 2023.

It was reported that Chelsea fancy Romelu Lukaku in excess of £43 million, but the Saudi Arabia giants are not ready to pay, and they are currently negotiating a lower amount with Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly.

The big Belgian loan spell with Inter Milan ends this summer, and he is likely to move back to Chelsea to start training under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The forward left Chelsea after his controversial interview criticizing Thomas Tuchel’s style of formation, just a year after joining them for a record fee.

Chelsea are currently looking forward to trimming the squad after finishing in 12th place last season on the Premier League table.

Pochettino wants new and energetic players who are capable of scoring a lot of goals.

If Lukaku accepts to move to Saudi Arabia, he is going to be the latest high-profile player to join the Middle East League after Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Ngolo Kante.

Some big-name European players (Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, Luka Modric, and Neymar) are also linked to moving to the Saudi Arabia Pro League.
