Since the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad, a lot of information has been spread to the public by various people online surrounding the nature of his death.
Mohbad passed away on 12th September 2023 due to an ear infection as reported by his team.
However, popular blogger Gistlover who is well known for social media gossip divulged some information about the deceased on her page yesterday.
The blogger reported that the deceased artist was allegedly hit by a ring at the last performance he had in Ikorodu a few days before his death.
According to Gistlover, Mohbad's exit from Marlians Music was the genesis of his problems as the label boss, Naira Marley began to pester his life and threaten him for leaving.
On joining Marlians Music, the artist refused to take a secrecy oath which involved drug peddling apart from making music just like his other signees and this led him into serious danger.
Mohbad joined the label in search for a big break in his musical career but he soon realized that it was not as easy as he thought so he stopped coming to Marlians Music for a while and blocked all contacts with Naira Marley.
After a while, he requested for a change in management but he wasn't granted so he wrote a letter to the label informing them of his intentions to leave the label.
He wasn't granted freedom so this led to the serious altercation between him, Naira Marley and the whole gang in October 2022. He later left the record label but he wasn't safe even after his exit.
With the influence of Naira Marley, he was blacklisted by the industry and show promoters boycotted him, stopped working with him or calling him for performances.
Marlians Music ran a smear campaign against him and he was bullied and beaten everywhere he went by Naira Marley's boys and popular socialite Sam Larry.
He was waylaid and even stopped from being in various places both in Nigeria and outside the country.

His colleague Zlatan quickly came to his rescue and stopped him from attacking Mohbad.
This happened last month while they were shooting a music video for their Mohbad's song Account Balance featuring Zlatan.
Last week, he was invited to perform at De General Bitters event in Ikorodu. After his performance, a fight broke out between him and someone.
In the process, he was allegedly hit by a charm ring which resulted in an ear infection leading to his death.
