Street interview: Nigerians predict the outcome of the AFCON 2023 finals between Nigeria and Ivory Coast
A street interview was conducted asking Nigerians to predict the outcome of the AFCON 2023 finals that will be happening between Nigeria and South Africa. Excited football fanatics believe the Super Eagles are a strong team that can conquer the Ivory Coast team. Some of the predicted scores include 2-0, 3-0, 2-1, etc. One of the interviewees pleaded with Nigerians not to allow either President Tinubu or his VP to be physically present for the finals to avoid gracing the stadium with bad luck.
He said, "I wan advise all Nigerians. Make Dem no let our President go there o. Make Dem no go give those boys bad luck o. Those boys, when Dem dey win. Nobody go. We no wan make anybody go. Shettima gan make he no go there. Make no body go there. Make them no go give those boys bad luck."
But in all, those interviewed were quite optimistic that the Super Eagles would bring home the AFCON 2023 cup.
