Suspected gunmen kidnap Ekiti APC Chairman
Some suspected bandits have kidnapped the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ekiti state recently. The chairman of the APC in Ekiti is Mr Paul Omotoso.
He was kidnapped yesterday, saturday evening. He had been driving in his car on the Agbado Ekiti-Imesi Ekiti Road when these gunmen took him away.
It was Mr Sugun Dipe who is the APC State Publicity Secretary who revealed that the vhuramna was driving when the incident occured.
He said the victim was in his Venza car when the gunmen shot at his tyres. These bandits bandits took him away unto their own car.
The chairman was alone as at the time of this incident. They revealed that this was around 6pm yesterday.
The APC spokesperson said they have reported this to the police and security agencies, Amotekun in the state.
They also contacted Mt Sunfay Abutu who is the Police Public Relations Officer in Ekitu state and he said he would confirm and get back to them.
