Labour Party's presidential candidate Peter Gregory Obi has stated that Pres. Tinubu deserves a Guinness World Record for economic hardship.
It's been eight months since the inauguration of Pres. Tinubu and Nigerians can't stop lamenting about the economic downturn in the country. What started with a fuel subsidy removal has now graduated into hyperinflation of commodities. It is, however, disheartening that the common man can no longer afford 1 square meal.
President Tinubu who recently spoke at a conference in Berlin, said he deserves a Guinness World for the economic reforms he has introduced since his installation on May 29th, 2023. Tinubu said he deserves recognition for this commendable feat and if he isn't given, he will find a way to insert his name in this prestigious book.
In a recent interview, Peter Obi expressed his concerns about the country's current state, saying after eight months of being in power, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be given a Guinness World Record for economic hardship. Peter Obi said some people's names are added to the Guinness World Records for distasteful reasons and Tinubu can be one of them.
Peter Obi added that Tinubu's reforms aren't achieving what they are meant to achieve. Therefore, he deserves the title.
