Two dead as armed robbers attack two commercial banks in Ayingba, Dekina LGA in Kogi State.
A group of robbers attacked commercial banks Access Bank and First Bank, yesterday 7th March 2024 around 5 pm, carting away a huge amount of money.
According to reports, the armed robbers attacked a police station along the Ayingba-Idah road, killing a policeman known as Idoko. Another man known as Alagama also lost his life after he was hit by a stray bullet during the operation. The robbers trailed a bullion van transporting money to the Access Bank office at Ayingba where they invaded the bank and made away with all the money.
Shortly after, the robbers attacked First Bank in that same area and carted away an unspecified amount of money.
