Why are they trying to impeach Governor Simi Fubara without a cogent reason, BBNaija Tacha says
Former BBNaija Pepper Dem housemate Natacha Akide aka Tacha has aired her opinion regarding the ongoing brouhaha in the Rivers State House of Assembly. Recall that yesterday, the 30th of October, the Rivers State House of Assembly was set to discuss the impeachment of Governor Simi Fubara who was inaugurated as the Rivers State governor on the 29th of May, 2023.
Tacha said she finds it difficult to understand why the impeachment of a newly re-instated governor would be discussed instead of the State discussing how to actualize his plans to make Rivers State better. She said it would have been a different case if the Governor had committed an offense to warrant an impeachment but none of that happened.
She said there was a project that Governor Simi was about to embark on which would employ over 10,000 Rivers State youths who are jobless. Yet, they have chosen to impeach him without stating a cogent reason as regards the impeachment. "There was no news of him stealing or breaking any law, so why would they impeach him?" Tacha asked
