You remember Comedian, Mr. Macaroni as one of the frontline celebrities in the #ENDSARS protest. A
Video footage showed the moment the popular comedian Mr. Macaroni confronted the police for allegedly extorting money from a man.

The security forces reportedly received 30,000 naira from the man who really pissed Macaroni up because those charged with enforcing the law appear to be opposing him.

The video featured the skit creator telling some people to capture the officer on camera during the live session while he continued to scourge them for their allegedly dubious act.

You can recall the #Occupylekkitollgate when Mr. Macaroni was arrested by the Nigerian police and how he was humiliated.

The comedian joined protesters at the toll gate to express his dissatisfaction with the decision by the Lagos State Judicial Commission to reopen the Lekki toll gate after the massacre that took place on 20 October 2020.

Adebayo was reportedly arrested after police told him "We don't want you here".

Before the police confiscated his phone and that of other protesters who had been arrested, the comedian complained on a live Instagram that "Lekki is under military rule".

He said, “How did you think the reopening of tollgate is the next line of action? If you didn’t do that today, we won’t have a right to be here.

“It is a disrespect to say that you want to reopen at this tollgate. Are you spitting on the graves of the dead?

“Na military regime we dey? We also have a right to be heard. We have a right to protest peacefully.”

The police had previously warned young people about the planned#Occupylekkitollgate demonstration at the Lekki toll station.

But the young people have vowed to question the order of the government.

To prevent the demonstration, police officers were deployed in strategic locations on the island of Lagos, including the Lekki tollgate.
