Absolutely. Who would have thought it would cross 100naira so fast
I have always expected it to go above N100 but not this fast though.

Guess what? The one thing that can hold the share price above N100 is the dividend declaration. I mean if Zenith declares a better dividend compared to the current price.

Most Zenith Bank shareholders are dividend driven.

This is the most obvious play, and that is exactly why I am cautious.

Yes, recapitalization has driven strong momentum. But at this stage:

A lot of the easy money has already been made

You are now closer to distribution than accumulation in some names.

That said, Tier 1 banks like Zenith Bank Plc and Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc will likely absorb the first wave of liquidity simply because of their size and institutional appeal.
Fair point. The easy gains may be behind us, and some names could be nearing distribution. Still, Tier-1 banks like Zenith and GTCO should attract the first wave of liquidity—but this is where selectivity and timing matter more than ever.

True. Everyone expected Zenith to cross ₦100 eventually, but the speed surprised many. At this level, dividend becomes the anchor—if they deliver a strong payout, it can justify and sustain the price. Zenith investors are largely income-focused, so yield will determine the next move.
