2017 MBGN winner, Ugochi Mitchel Ihezue, emerges as Miss Universe Nigeria 2023
Miss Ugochi Mitchel Ihezue who was the winner of the 2017 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant has emerged as Miss Universe Nigeria 2023. Ugochi who was representing Imo state beat 36 other contestants and won the Miss Universe Nigeria title.
Ugochi Mitchel Ihezue is from Akokwa in Ideato North LGA in Imo State. She and 36 others from all the 36 states in Nigeria contested for the crown and Ugochi won. She is now the first woman to have both beauty titles.
The pageantry took place at the opulent Convention Center of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos. This was on the 10th of September, 2023 which was last Sunday.
As the current Miss Universe Nigeria, she will be representing Nigeria at the global Miss Universe 2023 competition. This competition is set to take place on the 18th of November, 2023. This will take place in El Salvador later this year.
