28 year old Man assaults 5 year old daughter in Ogun state
A 28 year old man has been arrested by the operatives of the Ogun State Police Command for assaulting his 5 year old daughter.
This man has been identified asAdeyemi Babatunde. He was arrested for assault on this little girl who is his biological daughter.
Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi who is the spokesperson of the Ogun state command was the one who revealed this.
He disclosed this in a statement to newsmen yesterday in Ogun state.
They had arrested this man after the mother of the child had made a complaint at the Ijebu Mushin divisional headquarters
The mother said she had noticed the little girl having pains when she wanted to urinate or when she was bathing the child.
She said when she noticed she asked the little girl, she told her what her father had done when she wasn't wasn't home.
The police, after hearing this report had dispatched officers to locate the man and he was arrested.
He confessed during interrogation saying he didn't know what came over him.
The State Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Oladimeji, has given orders that this man be transfered to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour section of the State Criminal Investigation Department there they will carry out further investigation and prosecution.
