The people who were kidnapped are from South Carolina and this information was gotten from their families who have identified who they are.
All four victims are citizens of the US and while on this trip, they were shot at and then kidnapped
This incident took place on March 3 which was last Friday but the relatives spoke about this just recently on the 6th of March.
The victims have been identified and their names are Latavia McGee, Shaeed woodard who is her cousin, Eric James Williams and Zindell Brown who are friends with the first 2.
Zindell's sister spoke up about the incident and she felt it was like a bad dream she wished she would wake up from. The families of the victims are devastated. The video showing how this happened must have been nerve wrecking for them to watch.
Lactavia was the one who was to get the procedure done. It was a tummy tuck surgery and from what her mother, Barbara said, she had wanted her daughter not to go. She simply waved it off and assured her she would be okay.
Her friends were just to accompany her for the surgery.
They embarked on the trip on Wednesday because the surgery was on Friday. On the day of the surgery, she and her mum spoke and she told her she was a few minutes away from the doctor's office. Her mum says that's the last time they spoke because the other times she tried to reach her, the call went to voicemail.
They were already on their way to get the surgery done when their car was attacked and they were kidnapped by the gunmen. According to the video which was shared, the gunmen dragged the 4 victims into their pickup truck and laid them on the truck's flatbed.
The Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) has offered a sum of $50,000 as reward for the return of these victims and also the arrest of the men behind this scheme.
