Actor Aremu Afolayan laments the high cost of living in Nigeria

Aremu-Afolayan.jpeg

Nigerian actor Aremu Afolayan lamented about the high cost of living in Nigeria and implored the government to quickly intervene before the rate of crime skyrockets. He said that food is not becoming a luxury and the common man is suffering. The turkey he used to buy for N4,000 per carton has now increased to N4,000 per piece.

He added that cement is been sold for N9,000 whereas, in neighboring countries, the same cement sells for N1,500. What exactly is the offense of Nigerians? Aremu said that if care is not taken, people would raid government houses and start killing whoever they meet there because the country is becoming unbearable.

He added, "Very soon, no one will be able to afford a car. They will start killing people in Nigeria. So you think there is peace in Lagos? They would soon invade government houses and kill people. Because see why you are doing. You are putting stress on Nigeria."
