Well known actor Kawu Mala has passed away.
His name is Aminu Muhammad but he is popularly called Kawu mala. He was a Kannywood actor.
The kannywood film industry was known for producing movies in Hausa language.
The industry has mourned the loss of this man who was a member until death.
He passed away on Sunday, May 7, in the evening.
Kawu mala was an active member for more than 20 years.
After playing the role of Kawu mala in a TV series known as Dadin Kowa, he was then known as that name. After this role he became very popular.
Reports say he battled with a long term heart disease for many years.
He left his wife and his children behind. He was buried yesterday, Monday morning in Kano State.
One of his colleagues mentioned the kind of man he was and said they will forever remember him for his contributions in the film industry.
He said the deceased was a friend and brother to everyone.
