Amad Diallo has apparently detached himself from anything relating to Manchester United on his social media accounts.

The Ivorian football star has deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts - a move that many have linked to his ostracized role at the Red Devils.

Diallo also shared a cryptic four-word bio on X before changing his profile picture and cover photo.

Amad Diallo has made just 3 appearances this campaign, following his return from a knee injury in December 2023.

The 21-year-old was also an unused substitute on Saturday, March 9, 2024, as Manchester United defeated Everton at Old Trafford by 2-0.

Diallo's bio before deactivation on X (formerly known as Twitter) read “this will all end” in French, with his profile picture and cover photos showing images of the promising player during his loan spell at Sunderland last season.

Anyway, On his X handle, Only one post was spared since his return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2023, and it was a changing room video done on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with bright prospects - Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

Meanwhile, Amad Diallo deleted all but three posts from his Instagram feed, with the three remaining pictures, being images during his time with Sunderland last season.

One of those images included one where he kissed the Sunderland badge and another one of him celebrating a goal at the Stadium of Light.

Diallo, who netted 14 goals and provided 4 assists for Sunderland last campaign as they made the Championship play-offs, then looked to deactivate all his accounts.

However, Amad Diallo's post on Snapchat was brought to the attention of many, with the former Atalanta man revealing the reason for deactivating his account.

The 21-year-old said: “I’ve deactivated my social media for a month just to focus on Ramadan. Stop the hatred, there’s nothing wrong with what I did.

“It’s holy month for me and social media is a place where there are bad things to see during fasting.”

Diallo had in January 2024 been linked with a possible return to Sunderland, given the state of his future at Manchester United being unknown.

However, Amad Diallo remained with Erik Ten Hag's side beyond the January transfer window.

The former Rangers winger has since by linked with potential summer loan moves to either Birmingham City or Watford.

Diallo has a year left on his contract with Manchester United, with his contract having the option of being extended for a further year.

Amad Diallo joined Manchester United on January 2, 2021, for a fee of €21.3 million, but has struggled to develop as expected.

He has made just 12 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist across all competitions.

Many have heaped the blame for his lack of development on Ten Hag, indicating that the Dutchman hasn't offered Diallo enough playing time, and as such, another talented youngster could go to waste under the former Ajax boss.

They claim that Erik Ten Hag failed to utilize Jadon Sancho effectively, and also Facundo Pellistri.

Definitely, the job of a manager is very cumbersome and difficult, as he would often have to pacify certain players, whilst others keep getting limited game time due to unknown reasons.
