A 30-year old Pastor from Nnewi, Anambra known as Prosper Igboke has committed suicide after his girlfriend broke up with him.
The deceased family reported that the young pastor jumped down from a two storey building in an attempt to end his life.
The relative said, "He jumped down from a two storey-building and died. I am surprised that a man of his age and a pastor can do this"
Prosper Igboke was deeply hurt after his girlfriend declined his marriage proposal. It was also revealed that the pastor sponsored his girlfriend's education throughout the university.
"The man was 30 years old at the time of his death. His girlfriend, whom he intended to marry, disappointed him after seeing her through the university", the relative added.
After his body was recovered after the fall, he was buried in a forest for committing suicide according to traditions.
