APC dissolves Presidential Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved the presidential campaign council (PCC).

This council was set up last year in September. It was the governor of Plateau State who was hearing it alongside others who served as secretary and director General.

Mr Bashir Ahmad who is Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications was the one who revealed this information. He mentioned this in a tweet on Sunday morning, April 23, 2023.

He mentioned that this council was set up last year to prosecute the presidential elections this year 2023.

He mentioned that this action was contained in a stamens that was signed by the Director General of the Council and the secretary.

In the statement that mentioned the journey after setting up this council was worthwhile and they credited every member and leader

They also appreciated the president, Muhammadu Buhari for his support.

They claimed it is in their best interest to dissolve the council immediately and shift everyone's focus to the incoming president Tinubu’s inauguration in May.
