Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor of Ondo State, has praised the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress for the flawless conduct of the just concluded primaries.

To that end, the governor boasted that the party will win every seat in the 2023 National and State Assembly elections, urging party members to work together to achieve the goal.

Akeredolu, who spoke at a meeting with party aspirants and new candidates, urged candidates, stakeholders, and APC leaders in the state to fight tirelessly for the party to achieve total victory in the 2023 general elections.

According to him, the party needed to work together to ensure that the APC won the three senate seats, nine House of Representatives seats, and the 26 state House of Assembly seats.

"We cannot and must not lose any seats," he declared. Nowhere, not even in the House of Assembly.

This time, we must have three senators. We can't possibly lose anywhere. This upcoming election is critical. Your campaign must be built on APCs. It is critical to appeal to your co-contestant. He stated.

Concerning the alleged imposition of candidates during the primaries, the governor denied doing so and insisted that the election was free, fair, and credible.

Mr. Ade Adetimehin, consoled the losers of the primary by stating that the successes belonged to everyone in the party.
