The Arsenal match against Chelsea in the Premier League that was scheduled to be played on March 16, 2024, has been postponed after Chelsea qualified for the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

Arsenal revealed this through an official statement saying, "Our Premier League game against Chelsea, scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, has been postponed after the Blues reached the FA Cup quarter-finals."

"We were due to take on the West Londoners at Emirates Stadium on that day; however, after Mauricio Pocchetino's men beat Leeds United in the fifth round on Wednesday night, they will now tackle Leicester City in the last eight of the competition over the course of that weekend instead. Details about a new date for that fixture will be announced in due course."

The Arsenal-Chelsea game does not have a new date, but it is likely to be played in the midweek of game week 34 (April 20, 2024) or game week 37 (May 11, 2024).

The rescheduling means Arsenal will not play a single Premier League game for 19 days after the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Porto on March 12, 2024.

After the international break, the Arsenal team will travel to Etihad Stadium in a bid to reduce Pep Guardiola's hope of winning the Premier League for the fourth time in a row.
