Arsenal will be back in action for the first time this year and will be hoping to end a three-game losing streak.

The Gunners will lock horns against Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday, January 20 at 13:30 GMT.

Mikel Arteta and his men have been preparing in Dubai for their league return since Liverpool crashed them out of the FA Cup in the third round.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are also recovering from a knockout beating, losing their replay to Everton on Wednesday night, January 17.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Team News

Arsenal

The North Londoners have been recently dealing with injury worries with Jurrien Timber nursing an ACL injury but was filmed running on the Dubai pitches and going through individual training, however, it will still be a while before the defender can be considered for a first-team return.

Thomas Partey is dealing with a thigh issue, Oleksandr Zinchenko is suffering a calf injury, and Fabio Vieira is nursing a groin, therefore, they are not expected back until next month.

Meanwhile, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny are both away on international duty.

Kiwior ought to be given a shot at redemption in the left-back position, while Gabriel Jesus seems to have fully recovered from the knee injury that kept him out of the defeat to Liverpool.

Crystal Palace

The Eagles are also dealing with several injuries with the likes of Cheick Doucoure suffering Achilles and Joel Ward while Jesurun Rak-Sakyi nursing thigh issues.

Jordan Ayew will also be unavailable due to international duty commitments, representing Ghana national team in AFCON.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace kick-off time and date

The match between the two London teams is scheduled to be played at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, January 20 at 13:30 GMT.

Prediction

Crystal Palace will likely threaten the Gunners in a game where Arsenal will be looking forward to securing a victory to return to the Premier League title race.

However, it won't be an easy task for Mikel Arteta and his men but they will narrowly bag all three points at their home ground, therefore, the Gunners will win by 2-1.
