Nigerian actress, Ayo Edebiri has won her first Golden Globes award. She is also the first Nigerian to Win such a prestigious award at the Golden Globes award ceremony. She won her first Golden Globe for her leading performance in a movie titled The Bear. She featured in the second season of The Bear which is a Hulu production. She was seen at the Golden Globes event wearing a beautiful Prada red satin dress. The Golden Globe Awards was held on Sunday night, January 7th 2024 in Beverly Hills, California, USA. This was the 81st edition of the Golden Globes.

Ayo Edebiri is a famous Nigerian-American actress. She is 28 years old. She was born on the 3rd of October 1995 in Boston Massachusetts in the United States. She schooled at New York University. Ayo Edebiri has now taken home her first first Golden Globe award. Ayo plays the role of chef Sydney Adamu in the movie.
While giving her speech at the Awards ceremony, she appreciated everyone she worked with on the set of the Bear.
In her words "Everybody at the Bear — that's my family. I love you guys so much, it's an honour to work with you, to grow alongside you. Oh and my real family also, I love you guys, too"
