Banker Pushes his debtors wife to death in Ogun state


A banker in Ogun state has reportedly pushed his debtors wife to death.

Four people who are staff of the ZEFA Microfinance Bank have been arrested due to this incident.

It was SP Abimbola Oyeyemi who is the state Police Public Relations Officer that confirmed this news on Sunday.

He said officers of the command had arrested 4 people. These men include Badmus Olalekan, Eniola Aduragbemi, Ajibade Oludare, and Femi Oloko.

We learnt one of these bankers had pushed the wife of a debtor and thus led to her death. The woman has been identified as Vivian Omo and she is 50 years old.

The man who did this had gone to the house of the debtor and started packing their things.

He had gone there to ask for them to repay the loan but they told them the debtor wasn't at home.

They then started to pack their belongings. They took their electronics and other bit the wife of the debtor tried to stop them.

It was then one of these men pushed her and she fell unconscious. They had rushed her to the hospital but the captors confirmed she was dead.

A report of this incident was lodged at the police station and some officers were dispatched to the scene and arrested these men.

They are taken the corpse to the morgue in Ifo General Hospital for autopsy.”

These men will be transferred to the Homicide Section of the state Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation according to the PPRO.
