As the future of Harry Kane continues to hang in the balance Bayern Munich have tabled a club record bid of £82 million in order to force the hands of Daniel Levy.

The German Bundesliga champions have reportedly sent this offer after holding talks with Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy.

Kane's future continues to be a huge subject of controversy, due to Spurs' seeming grip on the Englishman despite several enticing offers being tabled.

Based on reports from German media outlet, BILD, they claim that Bayern Munich have not submitted an offer worth about £82 for Harry Kane with the inclusion of performance related add-ons.

This reported offer from the German Bundesliga giants is made up of a guaranteed £72 million, alongside a further £9 million in possible additional payments.

Two bids for Kane from Bayern Munich have previously been rejected by Tottenham Hotspur, but the German side remain keen on signing the England International.

Harry Kane has been devastating for Spurs over the years, scoring goals with reckless abandon.

The 30-year-old scored 32 goals and provided 5 assists in what was an underwhelming season from the Lilywhites last term.

Bayern's £82 million bid for Kane is however £18 million short of Tottenham's asking price for their poacher but it remains to be seen whether this offer would be accepted or not.

The Allianz Arena side's current transfer record is the £70 million they dolled out to sign Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid in 2019.

Reports indicate that Harry Kane has discussed with Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel over a potential move to the German capital this summer.

Kane's wife, Katie was also reportedly house hunting in Munich last month as the deal edges closer to being sealed.

Harry Kane has a year left on his current deal with Tottenham Hotspur and the Lilywhites wouldn't want to lose him for fee next summer.

Prior to the culmination of the 2022/23 season, it was reported that Daniel Levy would prefer for Kane to join a club outside England.

However, if no offer comes for the 30-year-old outside the Premier League then he would prefer to lose him for free next summer.

Manchester United were previously interested in signing Harry Kane but due to the pushback from Spurs, they opted to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

Hojlund is set to complete a move to the Old Trafford club and has finalized the first part of his medical according to reports.

Due to this reality, Bayern Munich are presently frontrunners in acquiring the services of Harry Kane.

Kane has apparently told Tottenham Hotspur that he wants a decision to be made prior to the commencement of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Manager Ange Postecoglou also views Harry Kane as a key part of his plans going into the coming season.

Spurs kick off their 2023/24 Premier League season with an away game against Brentford on the 13th of August, 2023.

The summer transfer window is still open until the 1st of September, 2023 and anything can still happen in the transfer market.

Even in the eventuality of Kane remaining past this summer, he can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club from the 1st of January, 2024.

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to already be making plans concerning Kane's potential exit and they have reportedly penned down some possible replacements.

The Lilywhites have been linked with several players, including; Nigerian Gift Orban and Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest.

Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic is also amongst the players who have been linked with a possible move to Spurs.
