The DF1 furnace — a massive 250-ton, 70-square-metre structure — underwent a complete overhaul that involved:
• The demolition and reinstallation of over 2,000 metric tons of refractory materials
• Replacement of 90 tons of steel structures
• Installation of advanced furnace equipment including modern exhaust draught systems, batch chargers, boosters, probes, and cooling systems ️
To further boost efficiency and production quality, the company also:
• Upgraded its working ends and forehearths with cutting-edge combustion and cooling units
• Replaced old water, air, and gas pipelines
• Overhauled electrical and control systems to enhance performance and reliability ⚡
