It wasn't all roses for Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund, as his former teammates are reportedly happy that the Englishman has left the German club.

Reports indicate that his former colleagues were growing increasingly infuriated by his actions during his time at Dortmund.

Jude Bellingham departed Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid this summer, halting his three-year stay at the Signal Iduna Park.

The 20-year-old joined Los Blancos for a fee of £113 million, and he is the most expensive British player in the history of football.

He made 132 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 24 goals and providing 25 assists across all competitions.

Bellingham was cherished by fans of the Black and Yellows, however, his teammates didn't have the same feeling towards him.

They particularly felt that Jude Bellingham craved being the center of attraction, and made it known via his disposition.

Some of his teammates believe that during the 2021/22 campaign, the 20-year-old started to feel like the spotlight was taken away from him.

In a bid to be the center of attraction, the former Birmingham City player will wait behind after matches to applaud supporters on his own, instead of joining his teammates for a group applause.

The youngster became a senior figure in the dressing room of Borussia Dortmund, despite being one of the youngest players in the squad.

He was handed the massive responsibility on several occasions to captain the club during the 2022/23 season.

In more inflammatory information from the Dortmund's dressing room, they felt Jude Bellingham didn't eschew leadership traits when he was handed the armband.

Issues ranging from mannerism, his treatments of his teammates and utterances had seemingly angered his colleagues at the Signal Iduna Park.

Bellingham allegedly insulted Nico Schulz when Borussia Dortmund were bundled out of the UEFA Europa League during the 2021/22 season.

The Real Madrid player reportedly reacted to a bad pass from Schulz by hurling insultive words at his teammate saying:

“You can't play a f***ing pass, you're f***ing s**t! Every damn time!”

Reports indicate that it wasn't a one-time occurrence, and the midfielder made it a habit last season as well.

Meanwhile, his teammates feel they will not miss him, and they are happy with the arrival of Marcel Sabitzer, who was signed to replace the England international.

Sabitzer has reportedly lifted the mood and spirits in the dressing room following his arrival from Bayern Munich.

Anyway, Jude Bellingham has also started life quite brightly at Real Madrid, as he scored a remarkable goal on his Spanish La Liga debut.

He scored in the 36th minute of Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao, to help Los Blancos secure a victory in their opening game of the 2023/24 season.
