Bovi speaks on relationship with Basketmouth
Popular comedian, Bovi Ugboma has spoken on his relationship with Basketmouth. He revealed his relationship with fellow comedian and colleague Basketmouth during an interview with Chude.
This is coming not too long after popular comedian Ayo Makun known as AY revealed what transpired between him and Basketmouth in an interview.
AY had revealed how N30,000 had caused the longtime problems between them.
Bovi mentioned why he and Bright Okpocha who is known as Basketmouth are no longer as close as they used to be.
He spoke about how he knew Basketmouth as a brand, a big one and how well known Basketmouth was and is. He mentioned how he also wanted to grow himself as a brand the way Basketmouth had.
He revealed there was this symbiotic friendship between them but Basketmouth was more visible because he was a brand.
He also added that it gets to a time that a brand becomes so big, others have to find their way to grow.
If one waits for a bigger person to keep helping, you may wait for a long time.
His mission became to grow himself and brand so he took the responsibility for his decision.
He revealed that there was a limit to how people can take you and with time, one would have to move on, get up and break new grounds.
He was also asked if he misses their friendship and he replied that they are still cool.
He also mentioned how tgat period was a phase and how they have moved on to a new phase.
He stated that priorities change and his priority right now to is make sure his immediate constituency is happy and they include his family.
