Bruno Fernandes clashed with center-referee Michael Olivier during Manchester United Premier League defeat to Fulham at Old Trafford.

United stumbled to a shock home defeat to the Marco Silva-led team.

Despite going into the game with commanding stats against the Londoners, an effervescent Fulham proved a tough nut for Man United to crack.

The visitors recorded a higher xG than Manchester United and effectively established their presence in the game. After a barren first-half draw, Calvin Bassey fired the away side into the lead in the 70th minute. United struggled to draw the game level and found a reprieve at the stroke of regulation time

Harry Maguire, left unmarked in Fulham's box, latched on Bernd Leno's rebound to nail home the equaliser from close range.

With stoppage time left to play, United edged close to a draw but we were stung at the death when Adam Traore found Alex Iwobi after a counter to fire the away side into the lead again.

It ended 2-1 at the break, and it was the first time Manchester United have suffered a Premier League defeat to Fulham at Old Trafford since 2003.

At the blast of the final whistle, Bruno Fernandes was furious with the outcome of the match and apparent biased officiating by Michael Olivier. He walked up to the English official and confronted him before being led away by his teammates.

Fulham ended Manchester United's seven-match unbeaten run but the Red Devils will hope to return to winning ways when they take on Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup 5th round on Wednesday.
