Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy calls his senior colleague David Adeleke aka Davido a joke for losing his three Grammy nominations.
At the just-concluded Grammy Awards, Burna Boy and Davido lost all their nominations. Burna Boy lost 4 nominations while Davido lost 3. Though Burna Boy's loss may have a lasting impact on him because he already won a Grammy Award in 2021. To top it all, he became the 1st African singer to perform at the Grammys in 2024.
A week after Davido stated that he isn't shaken by the loss, Burna Boy calls him a complete joke for losing his nominations. After the AFCON final yesterday, Burna Boy was exchanging light banters with Ivorians on Twitter when a fan of Davido who had his picture on his profile wrote in the comments, "Ode. You bottled 4 Grammys"
