Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner, has come in Ghana amid a social media feud with Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall act.

The self-proclaimed African Giant had previously announced a trip to Ghana without providing any other specifics, leaving many fans wondering if the trip is to fight Shatta Wale at the Accra Sports Stadium in a clash they hinted at on social media.

Burna Boy was seen arriving at the airport on a private jet with his entourage and exchanging pleasantries with fans in a new Instagram post by a renowned Ghanaian site.

Buna Boy and Shatta Wale have been involved in a major online feud.

Shatta Wale recently chastised Nigerian musicians, alleging that their success is due to the assistance of their Ghanaian peers.

This was in response to his prior comment about selling out a Ghanaian stadium without the support of Nigerian artists.

The African Giant crooner responded to Shatta Wale, saying that if the Ghanaian musician can't identify a single person he's groomed who hasn't turned on him, he shouldn't ask for help or feel entitled.burna ghana.jpeg

The feud between the two continued, as Burna Boy threatened to beat Shatta Wale after rape allegations surfaced during the social media brawl.

However, Akeju Abass who's a Nigerian music executive living in the United States, has reacted to the current schism between Burna Boy, a Nigerian music celebrity, and Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian musician.

During a live performance in Ghana, the Ghanaian musician accused his Nigerian colleagues of not liking and supporting him.
Wizkid, a popular singer, has also weighed in on the comparison between Nigerian and Ghanaian musicians, claiming that both sides are the same.

Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian musician, has stated that while Shatta Wale's approach is incorrect, his message is true.

After selling out the Accra Sports Stadium for his event, Shatta Wale made a dig at Nigerian artists.

He boasted at the concert that he didn't require Nigerian artists to fill Ghana's largest stadium.

The 37-year-old also accused Nigerian artists of “failing to promote Ghanaian artists”, Shatta Wale said, “As for Nigerians they think they can always say what they want to say f*ck your talks ya’ll who think I spoke the truth this, I don’t even remember you guys promoting Ghanaian artiste in your country, until u guys will realize your artiste blow in Ghana to say thank you ..F.”.

The artist threatened to put a stop to the support that Nigerian artists get from Ghanaians, saying, “Bring it on and your artiste won’t get that hype they get from Ghana .. I can make that stop ..Don’t dare me. It’s the truth ,your artiste come here for numbers before the world can recognize them .. Appreciate Ghana supporting your artiste and stop this foolishness.”

Akeju, who recently launched Faces of Afrobeats, a program to honor African musicians, advised celebrities from both countries to focus on the good aspects of promoting peace and unity in Africa.

“Our artists are gaining international recognition. Almost everywhere you go in America, there’s a playlist for African songs. This is really encouraging and we must learn to appreciate them”, he said to DAILY POST.
