The Cameroonian-American singer, Libianca Fonji, wins the 2023 BET Awards for Best New International Act.
She was nominated alongside Asake (Nigeria), Maureen (France), Pabi Cooper (South Africa), Flo (UK), Werenoi (France), Camidoh (Ghana), MC Ryan SP (Brazil), and Raye (UK).
Libianca's fans are going wild. They said she deserved to be awarded, while Asake's fans expressed dissatisfaction, claiming she robbed Asake of the award.
