Chukwuka Ekweani, better known as Ckay, has received yet another international accolade with the platinum certification of his hit single "Emiliana" in France.

The professional organization in charge of French records, the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing), announced this on their official Instagram page on Tuesday.

Ckay's song received the certification after receiving the equivalent of 30 million streams in France, according to the announcement.
In April, Emiliana received a gold certificate in France after selling 100,000 copies of the song in the country.

With his global smash hit "Love Nwantiti," the singer has already achieved double platinum certification in France.

On TikTok, Love Nwantiti has over two billion views, with another 500 million on YouTube. The song has also charted on six continents, including India, Norway, and Switzerland, where it reached No. 1.

Ckay's fans were disappointed last week when his hit songs Emiliana and Love Nwantiti were not nominated for the 2022 Headies.

The singer, on the other hand, had promised his fans that his album, due out later this year, would be historic.

Ckay was the only Nigerian to make Time's Next Generation Leaders list for 2022 three weeks ago.
