A group of crossdressers in the Ikorodu area of Lagos stage a massive protest for Bobrisky's release from prison.

Recall that Bobrisky was arrested and sentenced to six months in prison for the abuse of Naira without the option of bail. The crossdresser pleaded guilty before the Federal High Court after he was charged with six counts of Naira abuse and money laundering.

In a video making the rounds online, a group of crossdressers were seen protesting, demanding the release of the Mummy of Lagos, who will remain at the Kirikiri Maximum prison till September 2024. The crossdressers carried placards that read, "Free Mummy of Lagos", and "Free Bobrisky", appealing to the state government to release their brethren.
