Davido becomes first African to perform at PFA awards
Popular Nigerian musician Davido has become the first African to perform at the Professional Footballers Association Awards. The Professional Footballers Association Award show which is known as PFA awards is given to players with outstanding performances that year.
This year's event was held recently in England and Davido was invited to perform at the award show. This performance made him the first African to perform at the PFA awards.
Davido is a well-known award winning Nigerian artist whose full name is David Adeleke. His performance at the PFA was on Tuesday night, August 29, 2023. It was held at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester.
His performance came right before the they announced the awards of the night. Davido also shared some photos from that night on his Twitter page recently.
He stated “Thank you @PFA for the opportunity to not only attend such a prestigious event but also perform. Music and sports have always gone great together and we proved that again last night! Next stop Dubai @cocacolaarena.”
