Popular Nigerian musician Davido has revealed that he believes Drake helps to put Afrobeats music in the global spotlight.
David Adeleke is known popularly as Davido and he is an award winning music star.
He mentioned that Drake Graham who is a Canadian rapper helped Afrobeats music and brought it globally.
Davido revealed this while in an interview with Bootleg Kev Podcast. This was on Tuesday, May 17.
He said aaforveats was big before Drake as some narratives would put it but he would be lying if he didn't acknowledge how Drake put some global spotlight on Afrobeats.
He mentioned how Drake has made really good records.
