Yesterday, Davido went viral for promoting the music video of his new signee, Logos Olori. The music video captured supposed Muslim men praying and dancing on their prayer mats. Muslims frowned upon the video and demanded the video be deleted.

A lot of altercations ensued between people of different faith and some called the Muslims extremists for faulting Logos Olori's music video. Some set of people pointed out how the Christians did not challenge one of Asake's music videos recorded at the church. One @MercyEgbai said, "This is Asake a Yoruba Muslim that used the church for his video shoot, christians did not threaten the wrath of God upon him. Yoruba muslims rice chukwuemeka."

Confused Twitter user, Charlie of Warri, wrote amid the heated arguments, "Asake and TG Omori took goats to church to shoot a church video. Several music videos have been shot in churches with immoral acts, so what’s the problem with Davido’s video?? Cos I know he didn’t insult the Holy Quran in any manner. Please educate me."

Here is "Bandana," FireBoy DML & Asake's music video shot in the church.

Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha also called out Davido for promoting the music video. He wrote, "Davido should delete that Jaye Lo video & apologize to Muslims as an act of respect; It's common knowledge that the mosque is a sacred place, plus Muslims don't condone any act/behavior that goes against their faith. Creativity is fine, but respect people's religion & cultures." Daniel's tweet was met with both support and attacks from both sides, but he later went ahead to clarify his claims. Here is what he wrote.

After many threats, insults, and dragging, Davido deleted the video from his pages. The Arewa Muslim community even went as far as threatening to jail Davido. See the Arewa Community tweets.
