Davido reveals that Don Jazzy was his mentor
Popular Nigerian musician Davido has revealed that Don Jazzy was his mentor. David Adeleke is known popularly as Davido and is an afrobeats musician in Africa.
He said that while he was coming up in the music industry, his mentor was Don Jazzy. Don jazzy is a record executive and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of mavin records which has signed many big artists like Rema, Ayra Starr and others.
Davido mentioned that even now that he has made it in the industry, he still sees Don Jazzy as his mentor.
Davido was speaking about how he came into the music industry and revealed that his strong point was that he knew how to make beats.
He also said that the first time he saw Don Jazzy, to him it was like looking at a Jesus.
He also revealed that he blew up when he was 17, after he had released DAMIDURO.
