The English Premier League delivered magnificent and electric actions in grand style in the first installment of Matchday 15 actions in the Premier League.

There were only 2 games on December 5, 2026, with a rollercoaster of a contest at Kenilworth Road and a combative showdown at the Molineux.

Arsenal were in action against Luton Town and the encounter was indeed a spectacle, with goals aplenty falling to both teams.

Relegation-threatened Vincent Kompany visited Wolverhampton Wanderers, hoping to secure back-to-back league wins, unfortunately, they suffered their 12th loss of the season.

These results have certainly shaped the thoughts of fans, with many already saying that Burnley will relegate, while others expressing that Arsenal might end their 20-year wait for the league crown.

Luton Town 3-4 Arsenal

Following the 3-4 victory over Rob Edwards' side and how it came, many are already relishing the possibility of Arsenal winning the campaign.

Gabriel Martinelli fired the first salvo of the game, putting Arsenal into the lead before Gabriel Osho equalized for Luton Town.

In a game with two Gabriels scoring early, Gabriel Jesus also thought he needed to get in on the act, and he scored a beautiful header just at the stroke of the 45th minute.

Mikel Arteta's side went into the break, cruising with a 2-1 lead, but after the restart of action in the second 45, Elijah Adebayo equalized for the home side 4 minutes in.

In the 57th minute of proceedings, Ross Barkley brought the stadium into a cacophonic atmosphere, with Kenilworth Road beaming with jubilation from the home fans.

The former Chelsea man struck a dagger through the hearts of Arsenal, following a blunder from on-loan goalie David Raya.

However, Luton Town didn't enjoy their lead for long spells, and Kai Havertz brought the game to parity 3 minutes later.

The German forward looks to be back in top shape, and he took his goal tally in recent matches to 3 goals from the past 4 games.

The game looked like it was going to spiral and culminate in a draw, but Declan Rice scored an important goal to decide the enthralling affair.

Rice has been an impactful signing at Arsenal, since joining the club from West Ham United in the summer of 2023.

Following the win over Rob Edwards' side, the Gunners moved 5 points clear at the summit of the log.

Arsenal have amassed 36 points from 15 league matches, 5 points better than 2nd-placed Liverpool.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 Burnley

An encounter involving 2 teams with similar ambitions, but different levels of quality.

Wolves are also doing everything possible to remain in the top flight, but they also have their eyes on finishing in the top half of the table.

Newly promoted Burnley are also hoping to avoid relegation, and they are trying to throw everything into the kitchen sink to ensure that.

However, after 15 matches in the Premier League, they have a pale-looking form, with 7 points, and that has seen them remain in the relegation zone, as they sit 19th on the log.

Wolverhampton Wanderers sit in a pretty position based on their standards, 12th on the table with 18 points from 15 matches.

Meanwhile, Hee-Chan Hwang scored a brilliant goal, slotting the ball into the bottom-left corner after a brilliant stutter step.
