Drunk driver kills young hawker in Ondo state
A drunk dulcimer has killed a young boy who is a hawker in Ondo state.
This young boy has been identified as Bassey Edet.
A bus crashed into a motor park I'm Ondo state and this boy who was selling snacks there was killed.
The incident happened on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Reports says the driver was drunk while he was driving.
The driver had been driving on top speed and then crashed into the park and killed the boy.
It was the witnesses around when the accident happened that revealed that the driver reeked of alcohol.
The police have arrested this man and taken him into custody. The vehicle has been towed to the station as well.
The young Boy's body has been taken to the morgue.
The police have revealed that an investigation has commenced. It was the Ondo state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami who mentioned this.
