Elektron Finance Lists ₦4.64 Billion Infrastructure Bond on NGX

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has officially listed Elektron Finance SPV Plc’s ₦4.64 billion 22.00% Series 1 Senior Guaranteed Fixed Rate Infrastructure Bonds on the Exchange. This marks a major milestone under the company’s ambitious ₦200 billion Bond Issuance Programme, aimed at supporting long-term infrastructure projects across Nigeria ️.

The bond, which was listed today, Monday, November 3, 2025, represents the first series in the programme and carries a fixed annual coupon rate of 22% — a strong attraction for income-focused investors .

Under this issuance, Elektron Finance SPV Plc serves as the issuer, while Victoria Island Power Limited stands as the co-obligor. The bond enjoys a full guarantee from the Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company Plc (InfraCredit), providing an additional layer of investor confidence and security .

The newly listed instrument, tagged “22.00% EFSPV GTEED JUL 2040”, is a 15-year senior guaranteed fixed-rate bond that will mature on July 7, 2040. Each bond unit is priced at par value of ₦1,000, and coupon payments will be made twice a year — every January 7 and July 7, starting from July 7, 2025 .

To ensure orderly repayment, the bond will be amortised through equal semi-annual debt service payments, beginning 36 months after issuance and continuing until maturity.

The deal brought together several key financial institutions :
• Vetiva Advisory Services Limited acted as the Lead Issuing House,
• While Anchoria Advisory Services, Asset & Resources Management Capital, CardinalStone Partners, FBNQuest Merchant Bank, and Iron Global Markets served as Joint Issuing Houses.

On the brokerage side, Anchoria Securities, Vetiva Securities, and ARM Securities were appointed as Joint Stockbrokers.
The bond’s Trustees are Custodian Trustees Limited, and the Registrar is Veritas Registrars Limited.

According to the NGX, this listing underscores ongoing efforts to deepen Nigeria’s capital market and expand access to long-term financing options for infrastructure development .
