Erik ten Hag has won the Premier League Manager of the month for November in a big boost to the under-pressure Dutch gaffer.

Erik ten Hag saw off rival nominees for the award to clinch the award for the third time since he arrived the Premier League last season.

The Dutch came under intense pressure after Manchester United stumbled to their worst start to a domestic campaign in decades but things turned around in November.

November was a turning point in Man United dismal start to the season. Coming at the backdrop of Premier League defeat to Manchester City and EFL Cup defeat to Newcastle United, United bagged three consecutive victories without conceding a goal.

They scurried to a narrow 1-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage thanks to Bruno Fernandes' stoppage-time goal which broke the tie.

Against Luton, the Red Devils still crawled to another narrow 1-0 win to bag their second consecutive victory.

They rounded up the month of November with a bang, grabbing an emphatic 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

Alejandro Garnacho scored a sensational bicycle kick just three minutes into the game to give United the lead before Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial added to the tally to hand Erik ten Hag his biggest Premier League win in the season.

With the remarkable campaign, Erik ten Hag was definitely set to win the Premier League Manager of the Month Award.

The award is coming at the back of intense pressure on the Dutch after Man United stumbled to a second defeat to Newcastle in the Premier League.

It was thought the former Ajax manager will build on his gains in November but were pegged back with a factory-resetting defeat to the Magpies.

Nevertheless, Erik ten Hag is top of his game at United as he was able to guide the team back to a statement victory over Chelsea.

Manchester United will take on Bournemouth in their next Premier League game at the weekend. The Dutch will be expected to continue on the winning lane as the race for the top four takes shape with the first half of league action to be wrapped up soon.
