It didn't end well at Goodison Park as Everton and Newcastle United players faced off in a furious bust-up after the match.

It was another shocker of a Premier League game. Top four hopefuls Newcastle United collapsed against relegation-fighting Everton side.

After a barren first-half draw, Everton fired in a triple late in the second half to pack all three points against Newcastle United.

McNeill opened the scoring for the Toffees in the 79th minute before Doucoure doubled the lead in the 85th minute.

Everton nailed it down to a big win with Beto's 96th-minute strike.

It was a statement Premier League victory which dragged Everton out of the relegation zone for the first time after they were docked 10 points by the Premier League.

On the other hand, Newcastle failed on a their chance to make a headway in the top four race with Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Tottenham ahead.

While Everton left it late to bag a big win with the fiery triple, there were pockets of heated moments throughout the game. The tensions spilled into a full brawl after the final whistle with players from both sides locked in a mass fallout.

It all started when Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford got involved in a spat with Bruno Guimaraes. Guimaraes lost his cool against Pickford and could be seen pointing fingers at Pickford.

The fallout deepened immediately as players from both sides waded into the row trying to support their teammates.

About 13 players were caught up in the fallout according to The Sun but thankfully match officials were quick enough to intervene and restore calm.

While the incident occured at the end of the match, the FA could be forced to sanction both teams if the center-referee included the incident in his match report.

The Premier League has evolved stringent rules to curtail on-field fallouts and violent posturing by players and staff. Both teams could be slammed for failing to control their players.
